Video Editing Agency for Singapore Teams Who Already Have the Footage

A two-and-a-half-hour gap between Pune and Singapore means your footage gets edited, graded and returned inside a single working day.

What you actually get

Footage Ingest From Any Singapore Shoot

Whether your drone operator in Sentosa handed over 4K RAW cards, your in-house team shot corporate interviews at Marina Bay, or you're sitting on a stock library nobody has touched yet, our editors organise and sync everything before a single cut is made. We take footage from RED, Sony, DJI, and standard mirrorless rigs without asking you to convert or compress anything first. Every project starts on a proxy workflow so review links load quickly on your end, even over hotel or coworking-space Wi-Fi.

Colour Grading Built for Multi-Market Campaigns

Brands headquartered in Singapore often shoot once and reuse the same footage across Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand, and each market tends to expect a slightly different visual tone. Our colourists lock a master grade first, then produce market-specific variants that account for how the footage will actually be watched, from an OOH screen on Orchard Road to a vertical feed on a regional app. Skin tones and brand colour codes are matched frame by frame rather than pushed through one blanket preset.

Motion Graphics, Titles, and Multi-Language Subtitles

Singapore audiences move between English, Mandarin, Malay, and Tamil, so we build lower-thirds, title cards, and subtitle templates that can be repopulated per language without retouching the timeline underneath. Our motion designers match kinetic titles and infographic overlays to your existing brand type system instead of dropping in a generic template. Subtitle timing is checked against natural speech pauses rather than a raw auto-transcript, so nothing overruns a cut.

Revision Cycles That Fit Inside Your Working Day

Because Singapore sits only two and a half hours ahead of our Pune studio, a note sent at 9am your time reaches an editor who is already at their desk. Rough cuts typically go out within 24 to 48 hours of us receiving footage, and revision rounds turn around the same day rather than overnight, since our editing hours and your review window overlap almost completely. You watch versions land, leave timestamped notes, and see the next cut before your next meeting starts.

How this actually works

Editing Your Footage From Pune, For Clients Across Singapore

Getting footage from Singapore into our editing bays doesn't require a courier or a hard drive in someone's carry-on. You upload through a transfer link or shared drive of your choosing, and our ingest team confirms receipt and starts organising bins the same day, often within the hour if the files land during our working hours. Nothing about the handoff assumes we were on set with you, which is exactly why this service works equally well for a drone operator's memory card, a client-supplied archive, or footage a production house in Singapore already shot and locked.

Pimple Saudagar has been home to Webcomp Digitex's in-house post-production studio since 2019, well before the Private Limited registration and DPIIT startup recognition that followed in 2024 — the studio existed and was already cutting client work for years before either became official on paper. A good part of that history is Southeast Asian: running the same shoot into separate cutdowns for Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand is closer to routine than exception here, which is part of why the market-matching step gets built into a quote upfront instead of surfacing as a surprise later. SGD invoicing is standard for Singapore accounts, so there's no currency conversion for your finance team to track on their end.

Fifteen editors, colourists, and motion designers work our floor at any given time, so your project isn't parked behind one freelancer's calendar. Because Singapore Time sits just two and a half hours ahead of Pune, a request sent first thing in your morning is usually already being worked on by the time you're out of your first meeting. That kind of overlap is rare among the markets we serve, and it's why clients here tend to get same-day turnarounds instead of next-morning ones.

Understanding Video Editing

What is video editing?

Someone has to turn hours of raw footage into two minutes worth watching — that's video editing, and it only starts once a camera has already finished rolling. That work begins with syncing multiple camera angles and separate audio recordings onto one timeline, then cutting: deciding which take, which line, which reaction shot earns its place, and in what order, so the piece has a shape instead of just a length. Colour grading comes next, matching shots taken at different times of day or on different cameras so the whole thing looks like one continuous world rather than a patchwork. Titles and motion graphics get layered in after that — lower-thirds, product callouts, on-screen stats — and a sound mix, levelling dialogue and fading music under voiceover, is usually the last pass. It's the one viewers notice only when it's missing.

For a Singapore-based brand, the raw footage going into that process often arrives from more than one source at once — a shoot on the ground here, drone plates from a partner across the Causeway, archive clips from a wider regional campaign, maybe a stock clip filling a gap nobody had time to capture. Editing is where all of that gets reconciled into one coherent piece, formatted for the platform it's heading to and subtitled for the markets it needs to reach. None of it requires touching a camera again — it's judgment, assembly and finishing work on footage that already exists.

What is a reel edit?

Someone scrolling Instagram or YouTube Shorts in Jakarta decides whether to keep watching in about the same first second or two as someone doing the same thing in Singapore, which is exactly why a reel edit gets built as its own cut rather than a resize of the long-form video. For a campaign already built to run across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand, that means the reel version usually needs its own opening-shot decision per market too — the frame that earns the first second in a Singapore feed isn't automatically the one that does the job in a Bangkok feed, even when it's cut from the same source footage and carries the same master grade underneath.

It isn't the long-form edit cropped to 9:16 and trimmed to fifteen seconds — it's paced and framed for scroll speed from the start. It's part of the same video editing service as the rest of this page, so a shoot commissioned for a longer regional campaign film can come back with reel-length cuts for each market it needs to reach, built from that one set of raw files rather than a fresh commission per market.

FAQ

Questions before you get started.

Yes, that's exactly what this service is built for. Send us footage from your own camera, a freelance operator you hired locally, or a stock library, and our Pune-based editors take it from raw files to a finished, graded export. We don't shoot anything ourselves as part of this service, so there's no travel cost or crew scheduling involved on our end.

Singapore Time is only two and a half hours ahead of Indian Standard Time, so our working day overlaps with yours for most of the afternoon. A revision request sent from your office in the morning is usually picked up by an editor within that same working session, which keeps projects moving faster than working with a team on the opposite side of the world.

We regularly work with footage from DJI drones, Sony and RED cinema cameras, GoPros, and standard mirrorless bodies, along with archive footage delivered in whatever codec it was originally shot in. If you're unsure whether a format will work, send a short sample clip before the full handoff and we'll confirm before you transfer everything.

Yes, we invoice Singapore clients in SGD as standard practice. Webcomp Digitex is a registered Private Limited company as of 2024, recognised by DPIIT as a startup, and has run its in-house post-production studio in Pimple Saudagar, Pune since 2019.

Two structured rounds are built into the price, and for a lot of Singapore-based clients, round one is really a reuse decision as much as an edit note. When a campaign is meant to run across Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand off the same shoot, the first round is where you tell us which market's cutdown can just be reframed and colour-matched from the master edit, and which one actually needs a different structure — a longer product-demo section for one market, a shorter cold-open for another — because the audience or platform genuinely calls for it. That's a bigger, structural decision, and it's the one we want locked before round two starts. Round two is narrower: matching the grade precisely across the variants being reused, tightening subtitle timing per language, small trims. If a market gets added to the reuse plan after that second round, or a cutdown we'd flagged as a straight reuse turns out to need a genuine re-edit, that's additional scope we'll quote on its own rather than absorb into the original two rounds.
